Local Priorities Violence against women and girls Message

I wanted to provide an update regarding Violence against women and girls, which members around this area have highlighted as an issue of concern on the Met Engage priority survey.

Whilst on Robbery patrols, local officers have been engaging with the homeless community and have located a male who is wanted for violent offences against women and girls and have arrested this individual. Local police will continue to monitor and engage with persons loitering in the transport hub causing a detrimental effect to the community and local businesses.

 We are working on our brand-new strategy for how we police London and we want your help. Our New Met for London: Phase 2 strategy will guide how we deliver on behalf of Londoners over the next three years.
